La Galera cigars are produced by Tabacalera Palma, a well-known cigar brand from Dominican Republic established in 1936 by José Arnaldo Blanco II. This is one of the compnies which grow and process their own tobacco to make premium cigars at Tamboril, Dominican Republic.
The cigar has nice light but tanned Connecticut shade wrapper with small veins all around it. Cold draw of cigar has is full of flavour of nut, somewhat like cashew with mild spice. The first third of cigar has flavours of spice, earthy, nuttiness with subtle sweetness. Second third comes up with notes of citrus and loads of cream. FInal third has not a big of difference than rest of the cigars where cremy notes remains same with hint of floral, hay and grass. Overall, good Dominican cigar with decent price, even burn and simple but not complex flavours.
