The Rocky Patel Cigars owned by cigar enthusiast Rakesh “Rocky” Patel. Rocky initially invested in Indian Tabac Cigar Co. and eventually acquired whole company and renamed it as a Rocky Patel premium cigars. It is one of most popular premium brand for cigars among cigar lovers! Even though it’s manufacturing facility situated in Esteli, Nicaraguan, it makes truly a multi-national cigar brand as it uses tobacco from Nicaragua, Honduras, Cameroon, Africa, San andreas, USA, and Mexico.
The cigar looks well-built with light and smooth connecticut shade wrapper. It has lots of small veins all over the wrapper. It contains long Ligero fillers from Domnican republic and Nicaragua which is aged surprisingly 7 years.The prelight smell of cigar contains toasty, nuts and cocoa notes. After lighting up, cigar starts with flavours of mild tobacco sweetness with pepper notes. As cigar goes towards its half, notes of cocoa, leather and butter emerges. As cigar enters in second half, sweetness and buttery notes increases significantly which it supposed to deliver. There is hint of spice, pepper and nuts is still there which comes from Ligero fillers and the combination of slight spice and major creamy notes do the magic.
