Oliva Cigars’ history dates back to 1886 where Melanio Oliva started  rolling cigars in Cuba. Then, production has been shifted to NIcaragua where it becomes one of the most popular premium cigar brand around the world. It is known for its quality of tobacco, construction, draw and consistency of cigars, suitable for new ones to well experienced smokers. Oliva cigars are produced to Estelli, Nicaragua.

Oliva Serie V Double Robusto was Cigar of the year in 2008 by Cigar afficionado. It consists shiny and dark brown Ecuadorian sun grown wrapper. With the almost visible seems on cigar, presentation of cigar looks amazing. Cold draw of cigar has notes of spice and cedar. In first third, cigar starts with cedar notes. There is not much flavours at first but, espresso and bit sweet notes comes at th end of first third. Cigar become bit complex in second third where notes of chocolate, pepper and raisins becomes significant. Flaovurs of pepper, bitter coffee and cedar continues to final third. Subtle sweetness in cigar remains constant in cigar throughout. Overall, medium bodied cigar with even draw and smooth burn with white ash and amazing flavours.
