My Father cigars is well-known Nicaraguan cigar brand; founded in 2003 by Jose “Pepin” Garcia. Founded in Miami as a small company, My father cigars opened their larger factory at Esteli, Nicaragua. With such as short time span, My Father cigars has become one of the most well respected Nicaraguan cigar brand around the world.

My Father MF The Judge is extension of My Father line with intention to make rich full bodies cigar. Introduced in 2016, MF The Judge has ranked Best Cigar of 2024 by cigar Afficionado. Cigar is box-shapped. This cigar consists dark brown Sumatra Oscuro wrapper. The wrapper is rich, dark and oily with not big but prominient veins. The cigar gives strong earthy aroma at its foot. The first few draws gives strong cedar and pepper notes. Furthermore. notes of espresso bean, leather started to emerge as it goes deeper in first third. It gives slight citrus notes at the end of first third. As the second third goes, cigar becomes comparatively less complex where flavour of pepper becomes dominant. Here, hint of chocolate and hazelnut can be observed as well. At this point, cigar has become extremely full-bodies for which it is known for. Finally, last third has some earthy, cocoa bean notes with pepper as well. Pepper is throughout present in cigar. 

Overall, this cigar is very well-built with even, smooth draw and thick smoke. Strength of cigar true to its nature and flavours are complex and enjoyable. The quality at this price proves it to be highest ranked cigar in 2024.
