The Rocky Patel Cigars owned by cigar enthusiast Rakesh “Rocky” Patel. Rocky initially invested in Indian Tabac Cigar Co. and eventually acquired whole company and renamed it as a Rocky Patel premium cigars. It is one of most popular premium brand for cigars among cigar lovers! Even though it’s manufacturing facility situated in Esteli, Nicaraguan, it makes truly a  multi-national cigar brand as it uses tobacco from Nicaragua, Honduras, Cameroon, africa, san andreas, USA, and Mexico.

Rocky Patel vintage 2006 robusto, is medium strength cigar includes wrapper from San Andres, a Broadleaf connecticut binder with Nicaraguan fillers. A wrapper seems bit oily and dark with veins runnign all around the cigars. Its first cold draw gives aroma and taste of dark chocolate, pepper and cream. First third includes notes of slightly bitter dark chocolate, earth and leather. In addition to that, second third starts with strong dominant dark chocolate flavours with notes of hint of caramel, cream and touch of floral. While, final third equipped with slight sweetness, creamy oak and surprisingly chocolate is still dominant here.
